Studio Kura, Jo, Japan & Madonna's Tuxedo
There's so much to say, and so much I'm only now understanding what not to say about my time at Studio Kura in Itoshima, Japan. My gratitude deepens day by day and it's been over a year since I was there.

I went to begin research for my third book, Madonna's Tuxedo. However, instead of doing that I fell in love with a people and a place I can hardly comprehend. Here the circle of life is art and a new perspective on who we all are deepens my commitment to the story, and changes it all at the same time.

The years ahead are now filled with a teaching I could not have imagined. I don't write what I know. I write what I must learn.

My connection to a studio mate, and now dear friend and fellow Cosmic creative explorer Jo from South Africa has us collaborating and conversing about a someday children's book. I'm grateful to Instagram that we can chat away a few minutes each day.

The world is smaller and bigger all at the same time.
